Hall Of Junkies

This article relates to a blog that I read the other day (the horse jockey.com). This blog states issues about thoroughbred jockey better known as P-Val.
The blog tells us about P-Val's issues and how better off we'd be to let Louisiana have him. Again here we go and this includes baseball football or any other sports. The US Congress just had a hearing about drugs in athlete's.
There findings and remarks were as bad as most jocks. They talk like they have as much of a drug or alcohol problem as the ones they were talking to. There demeanor showed that it does no harm to anyone except to the people taking the stuff whether it be drugs alcohol or what ever. My question is what about the people? Yes the people.

Were going to start off with horse racing. Now I don't know much about it but I'm going to give it a try. We have a horse and he runs in a race, he wins and then after the race the horse goes to the test barn and the state vet removes blood and urine. This sample is then sent to the testing lab which they test for drugs ect. Usually in about 48 hrs the test results are then sent to the stewards if it's a bad test. The trainer and the barn vet are then called in to face the consequences.
Usually if its a minor offence they'll be a fine and the horse might be removed from were it finished the trainer and sometimes the barn vet can get fined and maybe days that all depends who wants to bend over, for example a horse wins and pays $60.00 test shows cocaine in the horses system, the trainer explains to the stewards he had a cocaine problem and he snorted it over the horses feed tub and that was how it got in the horses system.
The stewards buy this, the trainer gets fined and a 30 day suspension, horse is placed last from the race he won, loss of purse, and of course the gamblers which is the public all the bets were lost, so everyone looses except that trainer and owner we all know the trainer bet the horse. If a test comes up with real bad drugs like cocaine you usually get ruled off for years, not this case as you can see. Maybe its because who it was! OK we now have a scenario we can follow.
We start with the many great jockeys which have admitted on tvg or hrtv which many do (seems funny I guess were suppose to feel sorry for them). "A recent quote" Life was so tough I had to go to drugs meantime every week he'd go pickup a $500.000 check for the weeks riding tough? (pinhead) We find ourselfs allowing the so called hall of fame athletes to use their drugs to establish their young career and continue on using drugs to perform to profit even after being caught so many many times.
P=Val being caught at least 100 times reinstated atleast 100 times and in the meantime being able to make 5 million a year. Jerry Bailey admits being a drunk after his career is nearly over meantime he buids his career as a drunken jockey nothin but another drunken rider.
/Pat Day,Bill Shoemaker ect the list goes on but not all jocks are like this. Back to the issue if a horse can be put last and loose the monies earned (bad test)why shouldn't the rider have the same penalty for the whole day he rode all day loaded if he came to work being loaded (drugs)it should be for all the races he rode win or loose dq all the horses?
The other point is I don't ever remember reading in the daily racing form or the program that this rider rides with medication ie alcohol or cocaine or other drugs, just like horse medication "bute, lasix". The downfall is the public doesn't get there money back on bad tests weather it be the horse or athelete owner, trainer. The trainer doesn't care if you cheat its your life just bring home the money (not all trainers and owners are like this).
Oh they say they test the jocks meantime one jock pisses for the other jock. The bottom line is that many trainers know who does what because there usually in the same bar. Another point is throughout the years the pinheads make there careers while on there junk and at the same time destroy other jockeys careers. To make it simple have you ever tried keeping up with some one on drugs or that was drunk?
There is no try outs for being a jockey there is only who's ass your going to kiss and how many drinks or how much cocaine is available, they race like wild men on million dollar horses, they use there drugs to be all they can be. The baseball football and the other sport millionaire's step up to the plate loaded upto the gill some times blowing up and looking like the hulk one way or another they push all the real athletes back.
The ones that are respectable and honest with good ethics are pushed back to end of the line. They spend many years trying out to accomplish a natural ability to perform until the dope heads come along and push them back to the end of the line. The idea of a jock of any kind thinking they have have the right to be ingenious to there fellow athletes ,the public and the world means there should be no second chance.
All the commisions do is continue to do nothing but spank them or is it the other way around? The congress was reveiwing these issues of athletes only to reject real issues the president demanded them to take care for our nations interest instead the Dem ran off for there weekly drunk, this athlete issue was a commision issue not a congress issue.
I find myself saying to my children the athletes these days are nothing but rich drug addicts drunken fools with excuses on how they cheated everyone to get were there at and remember the best athletes are the ones that are at home with their families living a real life they are our athletic heros.
Todays established athletes have played there fellow jocks and the world and are teaching the young many bad things and the world and the children can only welcome all of todays athletes to THE HALL OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL CC>northern dancer

Bucks Journey Chapter two

BUCKS JOURNEY BEGINS
Chapter 2

This journey continues on for many years but not with the equine. Buck not living in horse country but in Southern California, his interests just like any other person living there except being 30 lb person soon began to go towards the sea.
Many of his friends at that age in California aimed at surfing, music and women (AH THE WOMEN) yes young and foolish. Buck being a Pisces (fish) spending most of his time at the beach one would think water would be his thing well Buck in no way liked water so he just settled on women, music and he even play a little banjo and violin (he thought). At this age there was nothing greater than these few interests and it kept him out of trouble and happy, and lived many summers right at the beach.
Buck had a couple of friends that rented a house right by Newport Beach at the pier, right by the water. There was one time that Buck and a few friends climbed aboard John Wayne's lancer (48 ft sail boat) Mr Wayne didn't even like that he chased Buck's buddies off it, Buck ran down the road (water thing) they jumped in the water we thought it was funny (kids), and Of course we had all the concerts you know we were in Southern California growing up in the 1960's use your imagination long hair ect.

Being that Buck was living at home his parents decided that they were going to go into the motel business well one would think being raised in southern California the future would be bright for Buck you know maybe mom and dad was going to buy a place at the beach,
sister, buck, mom, dad would keep all there friends and be close to there family, go to the same schools with your friends you grew up with ect, you know what better place would one ask to be raised.

Then it hit Buck soon he was going to have to move to a town on the California and Arizona border named Needles pop 3200, school 75 students, town 20 square miles. Mostly a Indian reservation yes welcome to the wild wild desert, yes there were many nice people there just not Bucks kind.
Nothing but a river, you know in the middle of no where, lots of hot sand, lots of dessert, and well if you blinked you'd miss the town. School was unlike any ones imagination, there really was nothing for Buck compared of where he came from. Bucks sister was able to stay in Newport Beach.
Buck managed to learned a lot about fishing, dirt bikes, even went and watched evil jump well maybe crash at Ceaser's palace but still wasn't his thing. They did have some nice inboard boats and some racing but again the water thing.
I believe the reason Buck didn't like the water is because he was so light the water would wash him away, by the time he was half way through his senior year he still only weighed about 60 lbs at 17 years and and was 4'11" he's got a couple issues. Not being big enough or heavy enough to be in any sports in school and having quite a bad time with many you know it was a size thing, also there was a little more than a hand full of women in this town that issue became next to none, not much of a love life but there were a few Buck hasn't forgotten even till this day.
Buck did pretty good with the women at the beach even though he was small. Buck decided that the time has come to leave Needles and go back were he came from Southern California.
Bucks now back in his backyard realizing all his friends and partners in crime are now with there new life's, new places, every ones more or less gone, some living a whole new life else where too.
Mean while Bucks father dies and had to go back to Needles,. Buck spent about a year there before all the issues of his fathers death was resolved. Buck finally left and headed out to find a life. Realizing a year gone by and still wanting to make a life, it would be necessary for another hair brain idea. Buck heads to northern California to a college not thinking money was a issue or a better high school education.
Buck with little funds and no help in reach, living under this big oak tree in this park Buck applies at the college, well the first thing he was told was that it wasn't likely to happen due to the fact that they never heard of this high school he went to and the subjects that he took and the subjects offered there doesn't put him in this school so Buck was back on the road again.
Searching not running as some may say, Buck headed back down to southern California. Believing some where in his journey he's going find his niche.
By this time still being of sound mind (I think) Buck spends many days and nights at the beach finding himself lost.
Thinking before he looses his pride and heart any job at this time is better than nothing. Buck had no interest in being some beach bum. (again maybe it was a water thing). Buck finds himself getting a job at sprinkler factory (making sprinklers here we go again a water thing))and spending about a year there, Buck meantime had a nice girlfriend he still remembers her till this day, she must of made a very nice impression.
During this time at the sprinkler company Bucks at the age of about 19 living a life rather dull other than his girl friend keeping his want to become something in life, you know most young people want to make history. Meantime some women at the sprinkle factory working next to Buck says you need to do something for yourself!
Check this farm out and see if they'll teach you to be a jockey. Well Buck listens and takes a address down and sends them a letter informing then that he's interested in going there to work and maybe learn how to become a jockey. Well naturally they requested Bucks back ground and wanted to know his experience with working on a farm and horses, and how much experience he's got riding horses.
They also informed Buck that this is a school for jockeys, they make thoroughbred jockeys there but they also teach not just how to ride they teach you everything from the ground up.
A list of 300 students have applied thus far. Buck only having two things to offer and that was 4ft 11 inches and 90 lbs, so he wrote back and informed the school if they decide he could attend the school he would be ready. Next week Chapter 3 Buck receives a letter from the school.

Lets let the viewer decide who gets the Riding Off In The Sunset Award. A donation shall be made to all equine researchers as well as mental exam for the rider and owner/

Were going to start off with story about someone called Buck who thought his future was to be a jockey, but little did he knew what he was getting himself into. This story is true, only once being around a horse way back when he was about 10 years old and about 3 ft and 30 lbs. Buck climbed into the paddock and this horse began chasing him around the paddock around and around (Stallion). Buck kept running away with a banana in his hand. Buck finally turned around throwing the banana at the horse Buck thought the horse wanted the banana. The horse then bit Buck in the fore head and took the banana and walked away well Buck at that point had little if no interest in a horse. Later a week or so his uncle then decided to buy two donkeys (So much for the equine horse) anyways Buck had a sister and uncle decided Buck and his sister were going to ride them. This happens next to a two lane hwy in front of Bucks uncles business, so Buck and his sister jumped up on these two donkeys well guess what, Bucks on this donkeys back watching his sisters donkey going at it bucking and spinning and farting (don't think he was broke) O Buck he's watching this shit happen and thinks this shit ant't going to happen to me so Buck bales off and the two donkeys are hauling ass loose down the hwy. Uncle see's all this shit happening and comes running out to the rescue. Ya right now these two jackass's are heading faster down the hwy. So what's uncle going to do? Ah uncle spots an old ice cream truck driving by you know the kind that had sliding doors on each side like a ups truck but was smaller you know a old fashion ice-cream truck. Anyhow uncle grabs a rope calls the ice-cream truck over and jumps in, the driver asks what are you doing? Uncle reply's were going to go rope those two jackass's and away they went off in the sunset got the rope swinging in the air getting tangled up on everything ice- cream flying every where. Sure enough 4 hrs later here comes the ice-cream truck my uncle with a smile on his face and one jack-ass's tied on each side of the ice-cream truck. This is Bucks 1st of two encounters with some type of equines in two weeks.
So at this time and place it appears that Buck has ended his future career as a jockey but wait next week chapter 1 begins and you'll find out about Bucks 30 year jockey travels.
